Councillors need to be given different information to that of staff, as their roles and responsibilities are different.

‘Think Again’ Drug and Alcohol Training Program

We are passionate about ensuring that all employees understand how the use of alcohol and/or drugs can affect their performance at work and endanger their own health and safety and that of others. We recommend regularly reminding staff that they need to be fit for work at all times, and demonstrate how to resolve any issues that may arise around inappropriate drinking or use of drugs.

15–30% of all work fatalities are related to alcohol and other drugs
